R-H girls win; Albion downed in N-O soccer

The front-running Roy-Hart girls topped visiting Medina 10-0 in Niagara-Orleans League soccer action this evening.

Maria Trombley and Kaitlin Mettler both scored 3 goals for the Lady Rams as Kaylie Churchill had 2 and Alexis Capen and Ali Ausman 1 each. Mettler also had 4 assists.

Roy-Hart is now 7-1-1.

The Akron girls improved to 6-1-2 with a 2-0 win over Newfane on goals by Olivia Novak and Graie Leiker.

Wilson scored a pair of victories over Albion.

The front-running Wilson boys improved to 8-0-1 with an 8-0 win over Albion which slips to 6-3.

The Wilson girls boosted their N-O record to 5-1-2 with a 5-2 win over Albion which drops to 1-6-1. Cami London scored both goals for Albion.

The Roy-Hart at Medina boys game was rescheduled for 4:15 p.m. Friday at Vets Park after a miscommunication over the scheduled starting time of today’s game.
