Quick goal sparks Holley to first round C1 win

A lightning quick goal in the opening seconds ignited No. 4 seed Holley to a 4-0 victory over visiting No. 13 Bloomfield this evening in the opening round of the Section V Class C1 boys soccer playoffs.
Chris Mosier gave Holley the quick lead with a goal in the first 30 seconds. Cam Mosier followed up with a goal on a header 10 minutes later giving the Hawks a 2-0 lead at the half.
Holley put a lock on the win in the second half on goals by Chase Kempa and Josh Silpoch.
Kempa also had 2 assists on the evening as Cam Mosier and Blake Coleman each had 1.
Improving to 12-3-2, Holley will next host No. 5 Williamson in the Class C1 quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Saturday.
