Purple Eagles will host Flyers tonight
No. 6 seeded Albion will host No. 11 Maryvale at 7 this evening in the pre quarterfinal round of the Section VI Class B1 boys basketball playoffs.
Maryvale ousted No. 14 Dunkirk 63-53 in Tuesday’s opening round.
The Albion/Maryvale winner will advance to a quarterfinal matchup at No. 3 Depew at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Also in Class B1 preqarterfinal competition, No. 8 Medina will host No. 9 Tonawanda at 7 this evening.
The winner will advance to a quarterfinal round matchup at No. 1 Bennett at 1 p.m. Saturday.
In Section V Class C3 boys playoff action, No. 4 Lyndonville will host No. 5 Dundee in the quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Friday.
Dundee defeated No. 12 Marion 67-51 in Tuesday’s opening round.
