Staying perfect at 5-0, Albion defeated visiting Olean 25-14 this evening in a B-2 Division game.

A big 90 yard kickoff return for a touchdown ignited the Purple Eagles.

Olean jumped out to an early 7-0 lead as a one yard touchdown run by Dylan Vincent capped off a 13 play drive.

However, Albion got that one right back as JaQuess Harrison returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown and Justin Robinson added the tying extra point kick.

The Purple Eagles then scored twice in the second quarter to take the lead for good on a nine yard touchdown run by Ugene Harrison and a 10 yard TD pass completion from quarterback Bryce Pritchard to JaQuess Harrison.

Demetrius Gardner rounded out the Albion scoring with an eight yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Ugene Harrison and Ben Restivo each made 11 tackles and Gardner 6 to lead the Albion defense.  Harrison also had an interception and Restivo a sack.

Albion next visits Dunkirk in a key clash for the B-2 Division title next Friday.

Albion defenders Donamic Farley and Ben Restivo combine to sack Olean quarterback Luke Chapman.
