Purple Eagles to host Section VI Class B1 opener on Tuesday; Rams earn B2 No. 1 seed
Seeded No. 12, Albion will host No. 13 Lake Shore at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the opening round of the Section VI Class B1 boys basketball playoffs.
The victor will then visit No. 5 Depew in the second round on Wednesday.
In Class B2, Niagara-Orleans League champion Roy-Hart has earned the No. 1 seed.
The Rams will host the winner of Wednesday’s No. 9 Medina at No. 8 Southwestern game in the quarterfinals at noon next Saturday.
Also in Class B2, No. 12 Akron will host No. 13 WNY Maritime at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the winner visiting No. 5 Alden on Wednesday.
Newfane is seeded No. 2 in Class B2 and will host the winner of Wednesday’s No. 10 Fredonia vs. No. 7 Cleveland Hill game in the quarterfinals at noon nest Saturday.
In Class C, No. 10 Barker will host No. 15 Cassadaga Valley at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will visit No. 7 Wilson on Wednesday.
