Purple Eagles post win over Raiders

Building up a 33-18 half-time advantage, Albion went on to defeat host Barker 67-55 this evening in a Niagara-Orlens League game.

Deyonci Farley scored a game high 24 points to lead Albion as Bryce Pritchard tallied 14 and Liam Ward 12.  Farley netted 11 in the opening period to help get the Purple Eagles off and rolling.

Nick Brandt scored 14 to lead Barker.

Albion, which next hosts leaue leading Medina in a makeup game at 11:30 Saturday morning, is now 5-4 in N-O action while Barker is 0-10.

Newfane 45, Wilson 37
Newfane scored a 45-37 win over rival Wilson dropping the Lakemen to 8-2 and two games behind undefeated (9-0) Medina. The Panthers improve to 7-3.

Sam Capen and Deuce Capen each scored 12 for Newfane as Garrett Srock added 9 and Jarrett Gilson 8. Srock hit a long three at the buzzer to give the Panthers a 25-22 lead at the half. He later made a key basket late in the fourth quarter to put the Panthers up by six.

Steve Frericks scored 10 and Ian Evans 8 for Wilson.

Pavilion 52, Kendall 36
Pavilion grabbed a 31-16 lead at the half and went on to defeat visiting Kendall 52-36 in a non league game.

Nate Warters scored 9, Derek Edick 7 and Dale Steffen and Hunter Menze 6 each for Kendall.
