Five first period pins sparked Albion to a 36-26 victory over visiting Akron in a Niagara-Orleans League wrestling match this evening.
Josh Bovenzi, Joe Schoeberlein, Bryden McMurray, Mason Lynch and David Stritzinger all notched pins for the Purple Eagles which also got decision wins by Andrew Uderitz and Alonzo Figueroa-Fuentes.
Albion is now 1-3 and Akron 0-3 in N-O action.
In another N-O match, Wilson downed visiting Roy-Hart/Barker 36-28.
Roy-Hart/Barker is now 2-2 and Wilson 1-2.
