A big barrage of pins powered Albion to a 60-30 victory over host Medina this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League wrestling match.

Breaking away from an early 12-12 deadlock, Albion took control by registering seven straight pins. Second period pins by Hunter Albright (145) and Ugene Harrison (152) ignited that uprising which were followed by consecutive falls by Jessy Cruz (160), Sam Slick (170), Ben Restivo (182), Donamic Farley (195) and Myles Brewer (220). Restivo’s pin in just 33 seconds was the quickest during that barrage.

Preston Flugel (132) also had a quick 36 second pin for the Purple Eagles first points of the evening.

Jake Bensley (126) registered the lone pin for Medina.

Albion is now 2-2 and Medina 0-4 in N-O competition.

In another N-O match, Newfane (4-0) defeated Barker/Roy-Hart (2-2) 58-17.

Nick Fazzolari and Ben Schwab both had pins and Brent Bachman a technical fall win for Barker/Roy-Hart.
