Purple Eagles open season with tourney win
Albion opened its boys soccer season on a high note as the Purple Eagles nipped CG Finney 1-0 in the opening round of the Wheatland-Chili Tournament this afternoon.
Finn McCue scored the lone goal for the Purple Eagles early in the second half off an assist from Alonzo Figueroa Fuentes.
Albion will next face the winner of the Northstar vs. Wheatland-Chili semifinal in the title contest at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Aquinas 5, Holley 0
Aquinas downed host Holley 5-0 this evening in the Lady Hawks three team, round robin tournament.
Hannah Ostrom made 18 saves in goal for Holley which will next host Roy-Hart at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the tournament finale.
