Purple Eagles JVs down Mustangs

Albion defeated the visiting Medina/Lyndonville JV football team 18-6 this morning.

Brilliance Johnson ran for all 3 of Albion’s touchdowns, tallying scores in the first, third, and fourth quarters.

William Braswell scored Medina’s lone touchdown on a 20 yard interception return in the fourth quarter. A hit by Lincoln Pace caused the errant throw that was intercepted. Braswell led the Mustangs offense, rushing for 89 yards.

Defensively Bobby Geiger and Justice Hughes each made 6 tackles.

Medina’s record falls to 3-2 while Albion improves to 6-1 on the season.

The JV Mustangs will play at Lackawanna next week at a time and date to be determined.
