Purple Eagles have B2 football All-Stars

A quartet of Albion players have been named to the first team of the B2 Division All-Star football squad.
The Purple Eagles foursome includes sophomore quarterback Amari Jones, senior wide receiver Chris Shabazz, sophomore linebacker Sh’kwe Riley and senior defensive back Bailey Blanchard. Jones passed for four touchdowns and rushed for three more.
Albion had a pair of second team honorees in senior running back Tony Freeman and junior wide receiver Tyler Gibson.
The Purple Eagles also had a quartet of Honorable Mention selections including senior linemen Cam Bell and Will Freeman along with running back Bryce Froman and lineman Jabari Johnson, both juniors.
