In a marathon battle, Albion outlasted host Wilson 6-2 in 13 innings in a Niagara-Orleans League game this afternoon.
Albion erupted for 4 runs in the top of the 13th inning on an RBI double by Jacob Hughson, a two-run error and another run producing error.
The Purple Eagles had tied the game at 2-2 by scoring twice in the sixth inning off a single by Dallas Ecker. Two errors set up that threat.
Ecker and Javon Jones both had 2 hits on the day for the Purple Eagles.
Wilson had built up a 2-0 lead on RBI singles by Drew Dabil in the second and fourth innings.
