A three goal scoring burst early in the second half keyed Albion to a 4-1 victory over visiting Batavia/Alexander this evening in a non league boys soccer game.
Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Albion regained the lead for good as Connor McQuillan scored off a corner by Owen Foos.
The Purple Eagles quickly upped the lead to 4-1 as Kendyll Hadick scored two minutes later and Hayden Pecoraro tallied five minutes after that.
The Purple Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Nick Reed.
Holley 3, Roy-Hart 1
Dylan McKay and Gabe Mendoza each had a goal and an assist and Andrew Cary a goal to lead Holley (8-3) to a 3-1 non league win over Roy-Hart at Gasport.
Alonzo Sager scored the goal for Roy-Hart which trailed 2-1 at the half.
Newfane 0, Wilson 0
In one key Niagara-Orleans League game, Wilson (4-2-2) played to a 0-0 overtime tie against rival front-running Newfane (8-0-1).
