A quick two goal scoring burst midway through the first half proved to be just enough to earn Albion a narrow 2-1 Homecoming victory over Roy-Hart this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game.

Albion broke away from a scoreless deadlock in lightning quick fashion as Cam Usselman scored a goal at 17:56 and Dylan Bader quickly followed up with a tally at 15:25, off an assist from Josh Metzler, to put the Purple Eagles up 2-0.

Roy-Hart did answer back on a goal by James DiLorenzo, off a assist from Andrew Villella, with four minutes to go in the opening half but the Rams could not net the equalizer.

Albion improves to 3-7 while Roy-Hart slips to 4-5.
