Program assists faith leaders in ministering to those affected by suicide

BATAVIA – It is estimated that one out of every two people in any given congregation has personally been affected by suicide.

Soul Shop trains faith community leaders to offer support, hope and connection to those in their congregations.

Hosted by Genesee Orleans Wyoming (GOW) Pathway to Hope, along with Northgate Free Methodist Church, and co-sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Soul Shop equips participants with the resources and guidance they need to foster hope in their community.

If you are a faith-based leader (pastor, lay leader, youth group leader, Sunday School teacher, etc.), please join us on May 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northgate FMC – South Campus – 350 Bank Street Road, Batavia.
