President’s Cup champ crowned

Throughout the season the Shelridge Country Club holds numerous tournaments but only one major is a match play event and that is the President’s Cup.
Recently two long time Shelridge linksters met in the finals as Gary Murphy bested Bruce Foley to claim the President’s Cup crown.
Third place honors was shared by Matt Bush and Doug Beltz.
Upcoming events include the Shelridge Ryder Cup event on Oct. 9. The event will match the Orleans-Genesee team vs. the Niagara-Genesee team with members registering by the county in which they live.
