Press Release, Orleans/Niagara BOCES

MEDINA – The Health Occupation Technician (HOT) students recently partnered with the Early Childhood Education students at the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center.

The HOT students invited their preschoolers into their class for their first annual Stuffie Clinic.

The event encouraged the preschoolers to bring in their favorite stuffed animal or doll and the HOT students taught them how to brush their teeth, take a blood pressure reading, and use a stethoscope, proper techniques of handwashing and X-rays.

HOT teacher Courtney Slack says she and her students were happy to report that all the stuffies and dolls were in good health!
