Power out at Lyndonville school district, afterschool activities cancelled

LYNDONVILLE – At approximately 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, Lyndonville Central School District’s power was interrupted due to weather conditions.
The district immediately assessed the situation to ensure student safety. Working with local emergency responders, the facilities were deemed safe to inhabit and all staff members were put on alert for any changes in that status. Phones throughout the district campus are able to reach 911 in the case of an emergency.
Students will continue the day in the building and be dismissed at 2:15 p.m. All afterschool activities have been cancelled.
Albion cancels after-school activities
Albion has cancelled all after-school and evening activities and there is no 4:15 p.m. bus run.
