Pirates and Twins score LOYAL wins
The Medina Savings & Loan Pirates downed the Mark’s Pizzeria Reds 10-5 and the Takeform Twins topped the Baxter Rex Sox 10-4 in LOYAL Baseballl League action on Saturday.
Pirates 10, Reds 5
The Medina Savings & Loan Pirates banged out a total of 17 hits in the 10-5 win over the Mark’s Pizzeria Reds.
Jackson Moreland and Jack Cecchini each had three hits to lead the Pirates. Josh Hilobuk, Luke Duffina, Mason Moreland and Vinny Gray had two hits apiece while Camden Fike, Ryder Jones and Ryan Pegelow each contributed a single.
For the Reds, Brody Fry earned a game ball for batting 3 for 3 with two triples, a home run and an RBI. Brandon Christiaansen also had a home run, Jimmy Dieter an RBI hit and Brady Christiaansen a double and single as Riley Tompkins and Aiden Allen each had a single.
Twins 10, Red Sox 4
The Takeform Twins downed the Baxter Red Sox 10-4 as Will Prest had four hits, Cole Call three and Sawyer Kingsbury, Jake Muessigbrodt, Lukas Grimes and Nathaniel Riches two each.
For the Red Sox, Maverik Hall had a home run and a triple with two RBIs and Cameron Kenward three hits. Ryleigh Culver, Robert McCarthy, Brennan Woodruff, Reece Senske and Henry Winters also all had hits.
