Pickup truck hits embankment on 31 in Albion

ALBION – Route 31 was shut down for about a half hour after this pickup truck hit an embankment at 7:30 p.m., just east of the Eagle Harbor Road intersection.
The driver wasn’t seriously injured but was taken by COVA ambulance to a hospital “to be checked out,” said an Orleans County deputy at the scene.
The deputy said there the cause of the accident hasn’t been determined yet. The accident is under investigation.
The Albion Fire Department responded to the scene.
