Paul receives Sect. VI Sportsmanship Award

Medina High senior Aidan Paul was presented with the Section VI Sportsmanship Award for golf at this past weekend’s state tournament held at Elmira.
Paul qualified for the state championship tournament by tying for fourth place at the recent Section VI Tournament.
At the state tourney Paul rebounded from an opening round of 85 on Sunday with a closing round of 79 on Monday to finish with a 164 total.
Last fall Paul captured top honors at the Niagara-Orleans League Tournament.
It marks the second sport that Paul has participated in the state playoffs.
He was a member of the Mustangs baseball teams which reached the state playoffs during both the 2019 and 2022 seasons.
