Panthers sweep Rams in N-O track

Improving to 2-0, Newfane swept to a doubleheader Niagara-Orleans League track victory over Roy-Hart this afternoon winning the boys’ meet 103-33 and the girls’ competition 104-37.

Andrew Boudeman was a triple winner for the Newfane boys in the 100, Long Jump and Triple Jump. Reese Casinelli also doubled in the 200 and 400 and Sam Auernhamer in the 1600 and 3200 for the Panthers.

Kim Goerss tripled for the Newfane girls in the 800, 1500 and 3000 and Stephanie Nicholas doubled in the Shotput and Discus.

Barker, Akron split

The Barker boys defeated Akron 98.5-42.5 as Ian DiLorenzo tripled in the 110 Hurdles, 400 Hurdles and 3200 and Dominic Clementi doubled in the 200 and 400 and Andy Leising in the Pole Vault and Triple Jump.

Marcus Kenline doubled in the Shotput and Discus.

Akron defeated Barker 92.5-48.5 in the girls’ meet as Hailey Hall tripled in the 100, 200 and High Jump.

Golf
Kendall defeated Wheatland-Chili 330-360 in a Genesee Region League golf match at Hickory Ridge.

Jacob Esposito shot a 53 and Callahan Spear a 62 to lead the Eagles.

Tennis
Byron-Bergen downed Holley 4-1 in a G-R tennis match.

Dalton Thurley and Steven Morgan earned Holley’s lone point.

Wheatland-Chili downed Kendall 5-0 in another G-R match.
