Panthers rally to upend Mustangs in OT

Rebounding from a two goal halftime deficit, Newfane rallied to defeat defending champion Medina/Lyndonville 3-2 in double overtime in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game this evening at Vets Park.

Jeremy Foltz scored the game winning goal in the second overtime period for Newfane which improves to 2-0 in N-O action.

Medina/Lyndonville had built up a 2-0 first half lead on goals by Nathan Dillenbeck and Evan Harris but could not find the net again.

The contest was the league opener for the Mustangs which next visit Roy-Hart at noon on Saturday.
