Panthers down Mustang stickmen
Jumping out to a 7-3 first quarter lead, host Gowanda/Silver Creek went on to defeat Medina 16-10 this evening in a Class C Division lacrosse game.
Improvng to 8-1, the Panthers went on to hold leads of 10-5 at the half and 12-7 after three quarters over the Mustangs.
Jake Cotter scored 5 goals, Tyler Valley 3 and Brendan Luthart and Greg Husung 1 each for Medina as Mason Pecoraro made 14 saves in goal.
Now at 4-5, Medina next faces a key Class C game at Eden (3-4) on Monday.
