Panthers dominate All League swim meet

Regular season champion Newfane dominated today’s annual Niagara-Orleans All-League boys swim meet at Newfane as the Panthers won 7 of 11 events.

Noah Kneeland successfully defended his titles in both the 500 Freestyle (5:05.44) and 100 Breaststroke (1:05.18) as did Dylan Lamont in the 200 Individual Medley (2:18.91) to lead Newfane’s parade of winners. Demitri Young also took the 200 Free (2:04.13) for the Panthers.

Lamont, Kneeland and Young along with Matthew Page teamed up to win both the 200 Medley Relay (1:53.36) and the 200 Free Relay (1:37.75).

Albion had a trio of first place finishes. Justin Kania took the 50 Free (:24.49) and Leo Bolton the 100 Butterfly (1:04.53). They both also teamed up with Logan Kast and Matthew Kania to win the 400 Free Relay (3:52.24).

Medina’s Bryson Ford won the 100 Freestyle (:53.76).
