Panthers best Mustang wrestlers; Purple Eagles down Rams

Taking 13 of 15 bouts, defending champion Newfane posted a 76-12 win over host Medina this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League wrestling match.

Phil Stevenson (152), Xavier Thomas (160) and Aidan Gillings (99) all registered pins and Dom Massar (120) had a major decision win for the Panthers whose other nine wins came via forfeits.

Medina’s points came on two forfeit wins.

Newfane is now 3-0 and Medina 0-3 in N-O competition.

Albion 60, Roy-Hart/Barker 24
Six pins highlighted Albion’s 60-24 N-O win over visiting Roy-Hart/Barker.

Bryce Kelly, Cody Wilson, Amilcar Morales, Ellwood Hafner, Austin Aman and Bryce Froman all registered pins for the Purple Eagles which also got decision wins by Shane Hastings and Dayne Aina.

Gavin Ciarfella, Brett Ricker, Quinn Brown and Colby Hancock all had pins for Roy-Hart/Barker.

Albion is now 3-0 and Roy-Hart/Barker 1-2 in the league.

Holley-Kendall match postponed

The Alexander at Holley-Kendall Genesee Region League match was postponed due to the snowy weather.
