Pal-Mac tops Medina stickmen

Completing a Major League Baseball style season opening stretch of four games in five days, Medina dropped a 21-4 decision to Palmyra-Macedon this afternoon in a non league lacrosse game on the turf at Genesee Community College in Batavia.
Taking charge from the outset, Pal-Mac jumped out to a 7-1 first period advantage and went on to lead by margins of 15-2 at the half and 17-4 after three quarters.
Kyle Barna scored solo goals in both the first and second periods for Medina.
The Mustangs also got third period goals from Aaron Feltz and Andrew Wigley.
Now at 2-2 Medina next visits Eden on Tuesday.
