Pace scores win at Class C swim sectionals

Medina High senior Isaac Pace won the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.21) and placed second in the 100 Freestyle at the Section VI Class C swim championships held this afternoon at Clarence.
Pace, who has posted state qualifying times in both the 50 Free and 100 Free this season, also teamed up with Jaxon Phillips, Xander Payne and Ben Griffin to earn Medina a second place in the 200 Free Relay.
Griffin also placed fourth in the 100 Breaststroke and fifth in the 50 Free and Michael Marker took fifth in the 100 Butterfly.
Roy-Hart’s Andrew Ossont placed second in the 50 Free and third in the 100 Breaststroke.
Barker’s Ryan Santarsiero placed second in the 100 Breaststroke and fourth in the 200 Freestyle.
