Ostrom scores 44 in Hawks victory

Sparked by a huge 44 point scoring effort by senior Broek Ostrom, Holley downed Byron-Bergen 61-52 this evening in a Genesee Region League basketball game.
Ostrom scored 8 in both the first and second quarters to help spark Holley out to leads of 15-11 and 36-30.
The Hawks maintained a slender 40-38 lead at the three-quarter mark as Ostrom netted 10 in the the period.
Holley then put a lock on the victory by outpointing B-B 21-14 in the final period as Ostrom tallied 18.
“He was amazing,” said Holley Coach Wil Prince.
Holley next hosts Notre Dame on Thursday.
RAC 72, Kendall 45
Building up a 28-17 half-time advantage, Rochester Academy Charter went on to defeat host Kendall 72-45 in a non league contest.
Zach Barrett scored 13, Braxton Zarpentine 8 and Jacek Kwiatkowski and Jeffrey Pratt 7 each for Kendall.
The Eagles next visit Lyndonville on Thursday for a G-R contest.
