Ostrom earns roster spot on St. Bona squad

Holley graduate Broek Ostrom has earned a spot on the St. Bonaventure University men’s basketball team as a walk on.
Ostrom, who is a freshman at St. Bonaventure, was invited to tryout and after successful workouts and interviews earned a roster spot on the team.
“He’s definitly worked for it,” said his basketball Coach at Holley Wil Prince. “He gives it 110 percent all the time.”
Ostrom, who is majoring in Sports Studies, scored 575 points (27.3 average) including a school record 51 against Alexander during his senior year at Holley as he earned Genesee Region League All Star honors.
St. Bonaventure competes in the NCAA Division 1 Atlantic 10 Conference.
