Orleans teams earn Scholar-Athlete awards
Nearly 20 Orleans spring sports varsity teams have earned New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete Team Awards by compiling a composite average of at least 90.
Albion’s honored teams include Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Girls Track.
Holley is represented by Softball, Golf, Tennis and Girls Track.
Kendall’s honorees include Softball, Tennis and Boys Track.
Lyndonville is represented by Softball and Girls Track.
Medina has five honored teams including Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Lacrosse and Girls Track.
Barker likewise has five honored teams including Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track.
Roy-Hart’s honored teams include Softball, Tennis and Girls Track.
Rounding out the Niagara-Orleans League schools Akron, Newfane and Wilson all have their Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track teams honored. Akron also has Flag Football, Newfane Girls Lacrosse and Wilson Boys Lacrosse.
