Orleans has six G-R soccer All-Stars

Six Orleans players have earned spots on the Genesee Region League boys soccer All-Star team.

Kendall is represented by the trio of seniors Zach Barrett and Toby Passer and junior Jimmie Swift; Holley by the senior duo of Cameron Bates and Drew Carlston and Lyndonville by senior Mason Nicholson.

Barrett, a forward, had 6 goals and 5 assists. Passer, a defender, had 1 goal and 1 assist. Swift made 83 saves and had a 1.176 goals against average in goal for the Eagles.

Bates, a forward, had 19 goals an 9 assists. Carlston, a defender, had 1 goal and 5 assists.

Nicholson, a defender, had 5 goals and 2 assists.

Lyndonville’s Mason Nicholson (11) along with the Holley duo of Drew Carlston (2) and Cameron Bates (1).

Undefeated (12-0) G-R champion Attica/Alexander, led the way with six All-Star selections including seniors Simon Lamparelli, Jonah Clark, Ryan Meides, Jon Beck, Noah Wheeler and junior Wyatt Bryman.

Lamparelli, who was named G-R Player of the Year, had 44 goals and 4 assists. Meides had 8 goals and 19 assists, Beck 7 goals and 6 assists, Clark 3 goals and 3 assists, Bryman 3 assists and Wheeler 1 goal.

Byron-Bergen/Elba, which finished in the runner-up spot at 10-2, has placed five players including seniors Gianni Ferrara and Manny Aragon, juniors Colin Martin and Braedyn Chambry and sophomore Jack Farner.

Martin had 15 goals and 18 assists, Farner 9 goals and 9 assists, Chambry 8 goals and 4 assists, Aragon 7 goals and 6 assists and Ferrara 7 goals and 3 assists.

Wheatland-Chili is represented by the trio of senior Terrance Bayly-Henshaw and juniors Camdyn Cremaldi and Owen Alquist.

Cremaldi had 7 goals and 2 assists, Alquist 1 assist and Bayly-Henshaw 217 saves and a 1.256 goals against average.

Pembroke has placed senior Jack Wolford, a defender, who had 2 goals and 2 assists.
