Orleans firefighters respond to Elba fire at ‘Big O’ barn

ELBA – A big blaze broke out this morning at the “Big O” onion storage facility at 5520 North Byron Rd., Elba. Several firefighters from Orleans County, including the Barre Volunteer Fire Company, have been at the scene.
The fire is spewing dark smoke that can seen from miles away.
