Orleans County announces Safe Harbour poster contest winners

ALBION – The Safe Harbour Program sought entries for a poster contest with the theme: “Spot the Signs – Stop the Traffick”.
Entries were accepted through Feb. 15. There were multiple posters entered and they were voted on with the following winners: Inez Stangler, 1st place; Elena Girangaya, 2nd place; and Kenidy Kaminski, 3rd place.
The Safe Harbour program is designed to be a safe place for teens and young adults (12-21 years of age). In addition to providing education and awareness on sex trafficking, sexual exploitation and healthy relationships, Safe Harbour provides lessons in life skills to promote a strong foundation to help children launch into their future.
