Orchard Park bests RBM hockey squad
For the second night in a row, the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina/Akron Club hockey team entertained the top echelon of the Large School Division on Saturday. Top ranked and undefeated Orchard Park defeated RBM for the third time this season 8-2.
The game was a true contest for two periods with the first period ending 2-1 OP. The RBM goal in the period was scored by Michael Kuchey (R-H) with the assist going to Dylan Krzykowski (Akron).
After falling behind 4-1, RBM got their last score on a power- play goal by Dominic Peracciny (R-H) off assists from Kuchey and Tom Paisley.
The final stanza was all OP as they scored four times.
Now 4-10-1, RBM enters the final week of the regular season with three home games, East Aurora- Holland on Wednesday evening at 8:40, Friday evening against Canisius at 8:30 and Saturday evening against Jamestown at 8:10. The Section VI playoffs will follow with RBM currently holding the #1 Seed in the Mixed Division.
