Olean tops Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina icers
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club hockey team brought their 4-1 record into Saturday’s home game but suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Olean Eagles..
Olean took a 1-0 lead midway through the first, but Sean Mettler (R-H) evened the game with assists from Jackson Hauser (Barker) and Gavin Ickowski (R-H).
In the second, Hauser retied the game at 2-2 from Austin Woodward (Wilson). It was Hauser’s team-leading 11th goal of the season.
In the third, Olean scored twice within 15 seconds, and shutout RBM the rest of the way.
RBM’s next game is December 28th at home against West Seneca beginning at 12:30 p.m.
