Olean completes football win over Albion
Making the long trek to the Southern Tier for the second time in three days, Albion played the second half of a season opening B3 Division football game at Olean this morning as the Purple Eagles dropped a 32-7 decision to the Huskies.
Quarterback Jonah Elsenheimer scored the Albion touchdown on a two-yard run and Lucas Rowley added the extra point kick.
Olean led 18-0 at the half.
Albion will open the home portion of the season this coming Friday as the Purple Eagles will host Depew at 7 p.m. Depew opened the season with a 43-14 B3 Division win over Dunkirk.
