Willie Riley Sr.

Born on July 22, 1934, in Fort Valley, Georgia, Willie was the son of the late Oscar and Estelle (Lindsey) Riley.
Known for his warm smile and generous heart, he lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Willie retired from Dussault Foundry in Lockport, New York. After retirement, he discovered a new passion in lawn maintenance, which he grew to love deeply. He enjoyed Sunday worship, spending time with his grandchildren, and cherishing moments with his devoted wife. A meticulous dresser, Willie, had a special appreciation for stylish hats, fine clothes, and shoes. He also enjoyed cars and motorcycles.
Willie will be remembered for his gentle spirit and profound love of life. His compassion and generosity touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna May Bloom and Aldora Bloom; his son, Ronald Riley; and a grandson, Justin Maurell Johnson.
To treasure his memory, he leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Juanita Riley of Medina, NY; two children, Willie Riley of Pennsylvania and Leslie (Riley) Johnson of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Charlie Mae Fluellen of Lockport, NY, and Sally Mae Johnson of Medina, NY; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor and cherish his legacy.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Glad Tidings Baptist Church, 404 W Oak Orchard St, Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Elder Nathaniel Little will officiate and burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
