William S. Baker

William S. Baker, 86, of Medina, passed away on May 14, 2020 at the Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. He was born Dec. 26, 1933 in Washington, Ind., a son of the late John and Catherine (LaRoche) Baker.

Bill graduated from Lockport High School in the class of 1951 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Buffalo. In 1955, he married the former Ann F. Lingham. Bill worked as a supervisor of the cost department at Harrison Radiator in Lockport. He was also a member of United Methodist Church of Medina.

Mr. Baker is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Ann F. Baker in 2008; son, Brian Baker in 2013; and sister, Floy Lacki.

He is survived by his daughter, Catherine (Robert) Regan of Lockport; sons, David (Sandra) Baker of Newfane and James (Stacey) Baker of Kendall; daughter-in-law, Sally Baker of Canton, Mich.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna Wright of Rochester.

Services will be privately held. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum in Lockport.
