William P. Boardway, Jr.
LYNDONVILLE – William P. Boardway, Jr., 89, of Lyndonville, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Willows of Medina.
Born on October 29, 1936, in Lackawanna, NY, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Reisch) Boardway Sr.
Billy married the former, late, Dorothy Jean Wellington, and together they raised six children.
He worked for B. Weil & Son Farm until their closing and continued working, driving the Amish Community on their errands. In Billy’s spare time, he enjoyed mowing the lawn for the town widows.
Billy is survived by his loving companion, Beverly Humphrey of Lyndonville, NY, six children, Daniel (Carol) Boardway of Middleport, NY, Tina (Michael Elder) Boardway of Lyndonville, NY, Charles Boardway of Waterport, NY, John (Darlene) Boardway of Medina, NY, Amy Boardway of Conway, S.C., and Gina (Tom) Grabar of Medina, NY, eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister, Betty Wawro-Nulph of Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, and wife, Dorothy, Billy was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Boardway.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, from 4 PM-7 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private for the family.
