William L. Schroth

William L. Schroth, 84, of the Town of Ridgeway entered into rest at his home on Sun., Nov. 15, 2020.

Mr. Schroth was born in Carlton, NY on Oct. 5, 1936. He was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator for the David Joseph Co. in Tampa, Fla. Mr. Schroth was a friendly neighbor to many, always greeting from his front porch with a wave and a smile. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and his two furry companions, Molly and Minnie.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Dolores (Dunn) Schroth; six children: Scott (Shelley) Ward, Laurie (Mike) Greenwood, Anthony (Antoinette) Ward, Curtis Schroth, Craig (Kelly) Schroth and Jonathan (Kristina) Schroth, Sr.; sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth; sister-in-law, Mary; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Tue., Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. Seating will be limited accordingly. The Rev. David Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery.
