William K.” Willie” Wheeler

CLARENCE CENTER – William K.” Willie” Wheeler, 67, of Clarence Center, NY, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at his home.

Born on July 23, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late James F. and Alice L. (Harrington) Wheeler.

Willie graduated from Royalton-Hartland High School and grew up in Lockport, NY, He drove truck for the majority of his life and worked for various trucking companies. He enjoyed traveling, especially while visiting family and friends. Willie was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and liked to go swimming at the YMCA. In his spare time, he would volunteer a helping hand at the Community Fellowship Church.

Willie is survived by a daughter, Haley Wheeler of Holley, NY, three granddaughters, Isabella, Juliette, and Kinnsley, four siblings, David (Pat) Wheeler of Medina, NY, Bruce Wheeler of North Tonawanda, NY, John Wheeler of Costa Rica, and Beth (Corey) Ward of Simi Valley, CA. Also surviving are other step-brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, December 1 st, 2023, from 11 AM-12PM at the Community Fellowship Church, 3144 Johnson Creek Rd, Middleport, NY 14105, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with the Pastor, Joseph Szalay III officiating. Burial will be in the Hartland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Willie’s name to the Community Fellowship Church.
