William G. Wymyczak

LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA – William G. Wymyczak, “Bill”, 64, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on March 25, 2022 in the city that he loved, Lauderdale by the Sea, FL. He was born on March 24, 1958 in Cortland, NY to William and Georgia Wymyczak.

Bill graduated from Royalton-Hartland High School in 1976 and went on to open his own construction business in Texas. He later returned to New York to work for Robert Miller Construction for 34 years. Bill was on the Board of Directors for the Sacred Heart Club and Oak Orchard Yacht Club. He loved bowling, vintage cars, flea markets, crossword puzzles, fishing in the Thousand Islands, and walking on the beach. Over the last few years, he enjoyed racing his sailboat (Paws) and living on his boat (Journey) during the summers on Oak Orchard Creek.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; beloved children, Shauna (Ryan) Pritchard, Ryan Wymyczak, and Jessica (Justin) Miller; grandchildren, Weston, Lillian, Ellis, and Otto; mother, Georgia Wymyczak; siblings, Kathy Fairchild, Penny Wymyczak-White, Robin Sweigart, Scott Wymyczak, Kent Wymyczak, and Doug Wymyczak; stepchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.

He is predeceased by his father, William Wymyczak; sister, Debra Lynn Wymyczak; and nephew, Joshua Wymyczak.

He will be surely missed and forever loved. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sun., April 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Club, 189 N. Gravel Rd, Medina, NY 14103. Please RSVP by April 17 to (585) 590-0900.
