William G. Rush

William RushWilliam G. “Bill” Rush, 46, of Albion, died Jan. 29, 2020, suddenly after a brief illness, in Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born June 12, 1973 in Albion, a son of Roger and Eleanor (Minckley) Rush, and he was a lifelong resident of this area.

Bill was a self-employed painting contractor who had a great love of the outdoors. As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, snowmobiling, spending time at Dear Camp, and hanging out with his friends. He also loved to cook, and he especially enjoyed smoking various foods and cooking BBQ. Bill not only loved to hang out with his friends but also loved to spend time with his family and his dog, Edie.

Mr. Rush was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor Rush.

He is survived by his father, Roger Rush of Albion; sisters, Amy (Scott) Ryan of Rochester and Sharon (Chris) Brown of Long Island; a niece; as well as several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Mon., Feb. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. only. Family and friends are invited to attend Bill’s graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tue., Feb. 4 in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
