William E. Elwell
ALBION – William E. Elwell, 90, passed away May 6, 2022. He was born April 28, 1932 in Brockport, NY a son of the late Edward and Agatha (Feltz) Elwell.
He was a former employee of General Electric in Brockport. Mr. Elwell served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was predeceased by his son, Mark Elwell; sisters, Particia Palmateer and Barbara Davy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marcia; children, Russell Elwell of Albion, Valerie Rush of Albion and Bonnie Johnson of Waterport; grandchildren, Jason (Celia) Elwell, Jeremy (Erica)) Elwell, Michael (Danielle) Blake, Steven Blake, Cheryl (Raymond) Laine Samantha (Kyle) Ham; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 W. Avenue, Albion on Monday, May 9, from 111 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by his funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment with Military Honors at Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Greater Royal Body Shop, 116 N Liberty St. Albion, NY 14411.
