William “Bill” Ireland

William “Bill” Ireland, 92, of Kendall passed away peacefully May 2, 2021 at his home.  He was born Jan. 19, 1929 in Bainbridge, NY a son of the late William E. and Frances (Dunshee) Ireland.  Bill was a former employee of Cold Spring Construction and enjoyed mowing his lawn.  He was an avid hunter and conservationist but most of all was devoted to his family.

He was predeceased by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Tammie Sample.  He is survived by his daughter, Denise Norton; grandchildren: J.R. Norton, Mike (Shayla) Norton, John Ireland, Natasha Sietmann, Matthew Norton, Brian Norton, April Sample, Christopher Norton, Duane Sample, Phillip Norton; several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; sisters: Irene Tillapaugh and Deanna Vogt; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Bill’s graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, E. Avenue, Albion on Fri., May 7, at 1 p.m.
