Virginia R. Davis

ALBION – Virginia R. Davis, age 89, died February 8, 2023 in Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born November 5, 1933 in the Town of Barre to Earl and Anna (Hartway) Kelley and was a life-long resident of this area.

Virginia was a member of the West Barre United Methodist Church and their Ladies Group. She enjoyed baking, traveling and camping and above all was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2006 as well as several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children: Dale (Susan) Davis, Diana (Edward) Pask, her grandchildren: Mathew Draper, Whitney (Joseph) Lagas, Brent (Karen) Davis, Ryan Pask, Erin Pask, her great grandchildren: Monroe Flor, Joseph and Evelyn Lagas, Brantley and Garrett Barnard, Virginia Susan Davis, her brother: Gerald Kelley as well as several nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 West Avenue-Albion, THURSDAY 2/16 from 4-7 where her Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY beginning at 11am. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Barre United Methodist Church, 5377 Eagle Harbor Rd., Albion, NY, 14411.
