Tonya E. Yanicki
Tonya E. Yanicki, 39, of Lyndonville, NY, passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Buffalo General Hospital.
She was born on November 15, 1984, in Medina, New York, the daughter of Nancy (Wise) Skellon and the late David Yanicki.
Tonya graduated from Lyndonville High School in 2002. She was a self-driven entrepreneur who loved the outdoors, especially playing with her three dogs. She enjoyed traveling and never met a stranger.
Tonya is survived by her mother, Nancy Skellon; five siblings, Gypsy Skellon, Brandon Skellon, Butch (Alicia) Yanicki, Eli Starr, and Hattie Starr and several nieces and nephews; her dearest friend, Mark Ellis and her three furry companions, Helix, Phoebe, and Onyx.
There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in her name.
