Thomas W. Hockenberry, III

ALBION/ROCHESTER – Thomas W. Hockenberry, III passed away on June 3,2024 at the age of 98. Tom was born in Wilkinsburg, PA to Thomas W. Hockenberry, Il and Mary Rice Hockenberry.

Proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 in the amphibious forces in the Pacific. He retired from Eastman Kodak in 1989 and was the photographer for his wife’s seventeen books featuring vintage teddy bears and animals. He and Dee traveled the world together and visited over 64 countries. He was a skilled carpenter and model ship builder.

Tom was predeceased by his parents; wife Dee of seventy years; son-in-law Jerry Fasano; brother Charles and sister-in-law Cathy Hockenberry; and brother James Hockenberry. Survived by his son Eric; daughter Candace; sister-in-law Joann Hockenberry; niece and nephew Kathi and Jerry Hartgrove; several cousins; and other nieces and nephews.
