WATERPORT – Suzanne Marie Gordon Williams, 62, of Waterport, NY passed away on January 14, 2021 in Brooksville, FL. She was born to Allan and Joan Gordon on March 29, 1958 in Lancaster, PA.

As a young child, she spent three years living in Japan with her family, then their family settled in North Tarrytown (now known as Sleepy Hollow, NY). After graduating from Sleepy Hollow High School, she attended SUNY Brockport where she met and married her husband Edward Williams. They settled in Brockport and together they had two children, Rebecca and Jessica, and a menagerie of lovable pets.

Suzanne was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and shared her love with all that knew her. She was known as Mama Sue, Aunt Sue, Nana Sue, and Suzie Q. She enjoyed watching her daughters, nieces, nephews and then grandchildren play sports, dance, perform in concerts and plays, and many other activities. Suzanne was incredibly patient and had the ability to make you feel like the most special person in the world.

She was an avid reader, a beautiful writer and liked relaxing with coloring books, knitting, and creating origami. Suzanne enjoyed being outdoors camping and gardening, and over the past three years loved traveling to Florida in the winters.

She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Ed Williams; two daughters, Rebecca (Jim) Mirra and Jessica (Drew) Johnson; and four grandsons, Brady, James, Vinny and Johnny. Suzanne is also survived by her sister, Carol (Dan) Normile; brother, David (Trudy) Gordon and her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Allan Gordon and Joan Gordon; and her sister, Cindy Francisco.

Suzanne will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
